The importance of Open Science not only in Science
A recent seminar by Open Science (TOPS) a NASA initiative, reminded me how crucial data in science is to our society. My thoughts!
From the logbook of a science communicator.
Today I want to inaugurate my column, the logbook of a science communicator, because I have always believed that all professional experiences are fundamental to our work and to others.
I therefore want to start with my recent experience on Open Science. I partecipated in online Open Science (TOPS), a NASA initiative designed to rapidly transform agencies, organizations, and communities to an inclusive culture of open science.
Transform to Open Science (TOPS) is a transformative initiative by NASA aimed at advancing open science practices, promoting transparency, and maximizing the impact of scientific research.
By fostering collaboration and providing training and resources, TOPS empowers researchers to embrace open science principles and revolutionize the way science is conducted.
TOPS is part of NASA’s Open Source Science Initiative within the agency’s Science Mission Directorate and at the end of the course they sent me, yesterday, this fantastic badge.
