MUSEUM OF NATURE AND HUMANKIND
Recently opened — the MUSEUM OF NATURE AND HUMANKIND — in Padua, Italy.
Discover rich collections from minerals to fossil and other etnographical objects. I visited on a hot Sunday in July.
I love this type of Museum where storytelling merges with the old centuries-old collections (Mineralogy, Geology & Paleontology, Zoology and Anthropology) of the University of Padua .
In front of the famous Scrovegni Chaptel spread over three level, we find a wealth of 200,000 natural and anthropological exhibits.
We start with a scientific narration of planet Earth as an evolving system. It describes the diversity of humankind and the environment, and the relationships between them, using a multimedia hall and interactive methods scattered near wonderlful minerals.
View my photos to get an idea… of the richness of this place.
If you visit, you’ll appreciate the variety of content, the distribution of collections, the bilingual explanations, and the air conditioning (perfect for hot days).
