Nelle profondità della Terra, scienza o hobbies?⏳ 🔦 👩‍🚒 👩‍🚒 🦇

Denise Trombin, Environmental biologist and Arianna Paschetto, Environmental geologist and also two speleologists.

“Time doesn’t exist. Once you enter a hashtag#cave, you soon lose all sense of time. This might seem strange or even frightening to some, but I find it to be an incredible thing. There is a place on Earth where time is relative, where people are not slaves to the clock, where you are forced — but it also comes naturally — to forget about everything outside and focus on each and every step and movement.”

by Denise Trombin, Environmental biologist, this is what speleology means to her and for Arianna Paschetto, Environmental geologist:

“It feels like living in a bubble of a magical hashtag#world far from reality, where you can perceive the beauty of the places and the thrill of discovering something new, even if it’s small. It helps you trust others, especially when you’re rappelling down ropes that you didn’t put up yourself, or when someone belays you on a climb. It also helps you learn to manage situations on your own at the same time and to understand what your limits are and sometimes even overcome them.”

Fantastic double interview (in Italian) published in the Savej magazine Fondazione Enrico Eandi, 👇

Thank you again for the great availability of the scientists for sharing an unsual world and cutting-edge research. Enjoy!
